My dad asked me to make him some fingerless mitts because his wrists and knuckles get cold easily and start to ache. This is the first time he’s asked me to make him something.

The pattern was really easy. I used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn acrylic and the size needles it says to in the pattern, but I didn’t change needle sizes halfway through the ribbing at the wrist. The stitch counts between the marks for the gusset in the largest size is wrong, but the count for the whole row is correct. You’ll just have to knit to your second mark and then increase instead of going by the stitch count the pattern says.

Over all, I’m happy with how these turned out. My dad said all the guys at work were jealous of/impressed with them.
